The original concept focused on the heroine's expression. However, it revealed too much emotion directly. The selected version shifts the focus to the relationship between the characters and creates a quieter emotional distance.

The initial concept explicitly revealed that the heroine had cut her hair. In the final version, this detail was intentionally concealed, allowing the emotional transition to remain subtle and open to interpretation.

Since this scene marks the moment C falls in love with B, revealing her expression felt too explicit. The final composition intentionally hides her face, allowing the audience to experience the emotion indirectly. This approach aligns with the core theme of Beyond Your Gaze—feelings that are sensed rather than clearly seen.

初期案では主人公の表情を中心に構成していました。
しかし感情を直接表現しすぎてしまい、
作品全体の静かな空気感が弱くなりました。
採用案では二人の距離感に焦点を移し、
余白のある表現を目指しました。

初期案では、主人公が髪を切ったことを明確に描いていました。採用案ではその変化をあえて隠し、心境の変化を直接語らない余白のある表現を選びました。
Final Version
このシーンは、CがBに恋に落ちる瞬間を描いています。しかし、その感情を表情で直接説明してしまうことは避けたいと考えました。最終版ではあえてCの表情を隠し、観る側が二人の空気感や距離感から感情を想像できる構図へ変更しています。これは『Beyond Your Gaze』全体に共通する、「見えるものではなく、感じ取るものを描く」という演出方針にもつながっています。
